Hooray! Benny is broody!!! I added a ticker so you can watch along with me. Supposed to be 21 days from setting. But I've read when you let the mama do it instead of an incubator, its a day less. So Sunday the 13th.....we shall be ready and waiting!!! Weeee!!!!!

Not sure....K said he saw five when he let them out today. I was a bit miffed that he was close enough to see.....as usually hens don't leave like that. She was out and about for about 30 minutes today, and back on there. So who knows if this whole thing will work or not. I will probably candle them in the next week to see if there is anything growing. If not, I'll go get some chicks and swap out the eggs (and a few golf balls for good measure..LOL) for a batch of babies.
